Terms of Service

By accessing or using OKDOI's platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our Services. By using OKDOI, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

OKDOI provides a platform connecting: • Buyers and Sellers through our Classifieds section • Merchants and Customers through our E-Store • Service Providers and Clients through our Services marketplace We act as an intermediary and do not own, create, sell, resell, control, or manage any listings, products, or services offered by users. Users are solely responsible for their listings, transactions, and interactions. OKDOI does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any listing. We encourage users to exercise caution and conduct due diligence before completing transactions.

As a user of OKDOI, you agree to: • Provide accurate, current, and complete information • Maintain the security of your account credentials • Not share your account with others • Comply with all applicable laws in Sri Lanka • Not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive practices • Respect intellectual property rights of others • Communicate respectfully with other users • Report violations of these Terms to our support team Sellers additionally agree to: • Accurately describe products and services • Honor prices and commitments made to buyers • Ship products promptly and provide tracking information • Handle returns and refunds fairly • Maintain required business licenses and registrations

The following activities are strictly prohibited on OKDOI: • Selling illegal items (drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods) • Fraudulent listings or misrepresentation of products/services • Spam, phishing, or misleading communications • Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination • Unauthorized collection of user data • Manipulation of reviews or ratings • Circumventing platform fees or payment systems • Posting adult content or explicit material • Multi-level marketing schemes or pyramid schemes • Sale of regulated items without proper licensing • Any activity violating Sri Lankan law Violations may result in account suspension, permanent ban, and legal action where applicable.

OKDOI charges the following fees: • Listing Fees: Varies by category and listing type • Transaction Fees: A percentage of successful sales through E-Store • Service Fees: Service fee on completed transactions • Boost Packages: Optional promotional enhancements • Subscription Plans: Premium seller features All fees are displayed before confirmation. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our Refund Policy. For E-Store transactions, payments are processed through our secure payment system. Funds are held until delivery confirmation, then released to sellers minus applicable fees. Withdrawals are subject to verification and may take 3-7 business days to process to Sri Lankan bank accounts.

In case of disputes between users: 1. Direct Resolution: We encourage users to resolve disputes directly through our messaging system. 2. OKDOI Support: If direct resolution fails, either party may contact our Support Team within 7 days of the transaction. 3. Investigation: We will review evidence from both parties and make a determination based on our policies. 4. Decision: Our decision on disputes is final for platform-related matters. We may issue refunds, reverse transactions, or take other appropriate action. 5. Legal Recourse: For matters beyond our scope, users may pursue legal remedies through appropriate channels in Sri Lanka. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting OKDOI Support may result in account suspension.

To the maximum extent permitted by law: • OKDOI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service • We are not liable for user-generated content or transactions • We are not responsible for losses from third-party actions • Our total liability shall not exceed fees paid to us in the past 12 months We do not endorse any users, products, or services on the platform. Users interact and transact at their own risk. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OKDOI, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of OKDOI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Colombo, Sri Lanka. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
